Stark Covered Bridge Wins New Hampshire Preservation Award

We are so pleased that our Stark Covered Bridge rehabilitation project has been awarded a 2016 NH Preservation Alliance award!  One of 11 awards given last week, this historic bridge preservation project has been a great experience for HEB.  We worked collaboratively with the Town of Stark and Austin Construction LLC to rehabilitate ‘the most photographed bridge in New Hampshire’ to current safety standards while maintaining its unique historic character.  Construction was completed in 2015. 

The project also received an ACEC-NH ‘Engineering Excellence’ award this past spring as well as an honorable mention in the ACEC national competition.
