STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER (BRIDGE)
HEB Engineers is currently seeking a highly motivated Bridge Project Manager to join our Structural Engineering Team. This full-time position involves managing bridge projects for public and private clients. Experience: 5+ years of structural engineering experience. Project Management experience preferred.
Education: BSCE with structural concentration required; MSCE preferred.
Licensure: PE required; NH PE preferred or ability to obtain within 3 months.
Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of AutoCAD required; MicroStation experience is a plus.
Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; interact effectively with team members, clients, and the public.
- Ability to perform complex design calculations and coordinate the completion of reports, plans, estimates, and specifications for bridge projects.
- Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, timber and prestressed concrete design, and construction engineering required.
- Previous experience with NHDOT is a plus.
- Active participation in professional organization(s) is preferred.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop projects’ scope, fee, and schedule and monitor the progress throughout the project.
- Manage projects and lead project team to complete the project on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare complex calculations, plans, and schedules.
- Resolve conflicting design requirements and coordination requirements.
- Review technical content of all work performed under direct supervision.
- Coordinate design work with junior staff and CADD Technicians.
- Oversee the development of Permitting, Construction, and Bidding documents.
- Perform construction observation and administration tasks.
